Bristol Koi Farm – Auction Terms & Conditions

Effective for all auction purchases made through Bristol Koi Farm.

  1. Payment
  • Payment is due in full at the conclusion of the auction.
  • Orders will not begin processing until payment is received.
  1. Order Preparation
  • Please allow 5–7 days for us to prepare your koi for shipment.
  • Preparation time does not include weekends or holidays.
  • Larger orders or specialized requests may require additional time.
  1. Shipping Options
  • We offer airport-to-airport shipping as our primary shipping method.
  • We can combine shipping for multiple koi to help reduce costs.
  • If you prefer UPS Shipping, we can arrange it; however, UPS shipping fees are higher and may vary based on location and box weight.
  1. Shipping Process
  • Once your koi are cleared, packed, and ready to ship, you will receive:
    • An Air Waybill (AWB) number
    • Drop-off confirmation
    • Pickup time and airport instructions
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to pick up koi promptly at the assigned airport to ensure their safety.
  1. Quarantine & Health Concerns
  • All koi go through our standard quarantine and preparation procedures prior to shipping.
  • If you notice any issues during your home quarantine period, please email us immediately at Bristolkoifarm.com@gmail.com with:
    • A description of the concern
    • Clear photos and/or video of the koi
  • We will do our best to provide guidance and support.
  1. Live Arrival Guarantee
  • We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee for airport-to-airport shipments.
  • To qualify, you must:
    • Send photos/video within 2 hours of pickup, showing the unopened bag and the condition of the koi.
  • Guarantee does not apply if koi are not picked up on time or if the bag has been opened prior to documentation.
  1. Additional Policies
  • All sales are final once the auction closes.
  • By placing a bid, you agree to these terms and accept responsibility for proper acclimation and care after arrival.
  • Weather, airline delays, or external shipping conditions may impact timing; we will coordinate the safest possible ship date.
